The Center for International Studies announces its 2010 awards competition for the Asia/Pacific Business Outlook Conference, to be held at the USC Davidson Conference Center on April 19 and 20, 2010. This is a College-wide competition awarding students the opportunity to attend the conference. All graduate students from the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences are eligible to apply.

The Conference has been established as the premier event for businesses that want to develop and improve their trade and investment opportunities in the Asia/Pacific region. Get the current intelligence on 15 economies, as well as practical, applicable solutions to your logistical, legal, financial, marketing, planning, and human resource issues. APBOC offers a wealth of insight, knowledge, advice and networking opportunities for anyone interested in business and the Pacific Rim. Interested students: please submit a one- to two-page memorandum indicating why you should attend the Conference, outlining your program of study, and specifying how the conference will help develop your knowledge of Asia/Pacific Rim business issues. Please submit a curriculum vitae as well as a coversheet indicating your name, address, telephone, e-mail and USC student identification number. The application deadline is February 27, 2009. Applications will be reviewed by the director of the USC Center for International Studies and the winner(s) will be notified in late March 2010.
