Professor Patrick James receives renewed funding for Undergraduate Research Associates Program

Patrick James has been awarded renewed funding by USC's Undergraduate Research Associates Program, to continue mentoring undergraduates who are conducting research on James’ study of “Near Crises in World Politics.” Over the summer, undergraduate research assistant and team leader Caroline Cha will continue researching, evaluating and coding candidate “near crisis” cases within a given month and year. She will organize current case files into a large-scale database. In addition, Cha will work closely with James to develop workshops for team members and to build a website for the project.
